Longleaf and Lunch!
The Partnership hosted a Longleaf and Lunch field day October 8, 2011 (photos). We had an informal, educational morning for landowners interested in learning about the benefits of longleaf pine trees. Longleaf and Lunch Press Release.

Over 30 attendees visited two local sites with a host of speakers lined up to discuss topics such as:
- Local cost-share programs to establish new or manage existing Longleaf stands
- Landowners with a common interest in Longleaf
- Company representatives - from tree planters to consulting foresters.
- Programs to ensure the long-term existence of Longleaf on your land
(estate planning, easements, Safe Harbor, etc) - Longleaf management: from seedling to saw-log.
Participants went home with a "goody" bag full of information on a variety of topics.
